We are a family-run saddle hunting gear manufacturer and supplier based out of Butler, Pennsylvania. We were created in 2022 when we saw the need for safe and reliable saddle hunting equipment. With the ability to manufacture, test, inspect, and ship equipment and 40 years of life safety experience already under our belt, it only made sense to bring our expertise to saddle hunting.
Yes. In fact, we acquired Omega Pacific in 2022 and are now providing high-quality carabiners, pulleys, rappel rings and other rescue and arbor devices, thousands of which have been shipped around the country since.
Because your safety is our first priority. It is disheartening to hear the tragic stories of injuries and deaths of hunters because of cheap, unsafe gear, or a lack of awareness and education on safe hunting practices. As a family who eats, sleeps and breathes rope access safety, you can rely on us to never let anything unsafe leave our doors.
We do, and if you are ever in our neck of the woods in Butler, PA, we invite you to visit us! We conduct all operations out of our location in Butler, from manufacturing to shipping to sales to administration. We would love to give you a tour of our showroom, manufacturing, splicing and warehouse.

If you placed an order many days ago and still have not received a shipping confirmation email, odds are it is because your order contains an item that is on backorder.
If your order does not contain any backordered items and it still has not shipped, you can give us a call at 724-256-8822 or send us an email at [email protected] and we will check the status of your order for you.
All web orders totaling $99 or more are eligible for free ground shipping to all destinations in the continental United States. Some exclusions apply – learn more.
If you would like to return a product, you can call us to request a Return Authorization Number (RA#) within 30 days of receiving the merchandise. You will need to explain the reason why you need to return the merchandise, and if approved, you will receive credit for the item returned minus shipping charges. All Ape Canyon Outfitters brand products are made 100% in the United States of America; Pennsylvania to be exact. We have a facility in Butler, PA with a sizable team of expert sewers, splicers, and rope termination specialists. Other brands we carry vary in origin, but we try and keep our partners mainly based in the USA, doing our part to boost the US economy, keep US manufacturing alive, and supplying quality, reliable, and safe outdoor equipment.
